Director Baz Luhrmann revealed that he has a longer cut of his most recent film “Elvis”. He is quoted saying “I mean, I have a four-hour version, actually”. This “directors cut” supposedly included iconic moments from Elvis Presley’s life including meeting President Richard Nixon, dating his first girlfriend Dixie, as well as his struggle with addiction to barbiturates. Fans of the movie and Elvis himself have spoken with positive reviews pouring in. Austin Butler embodies Elvis on the screen unlike anyone has before. Every extra minute of this masterful performance would be a gift to not only the fans but the people who put their heart into making every second of this beautiful film. I am asking that Mr.Luhrmann and Warner Bros. Pictures release the 4 hour cut of “Elvis” when the film is released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K Ultra HD.
