Petition updateRelease Shadow!Shadow's Story Doesn't Have to End Like Sea World's Tilikum

Tilikum, Sea World's most exploited orca, died without ever again knowing freedom. His ten (of 21) surviving children continue to suffer in tiny concrete tanks. The story of #ShadowtheLeopard doesn't have to end this way. It could end where he feels grass for the first time, rolls around on his back in the sun, stretches his body to roam, and enjoys the company of his own kind - in peaceful retirement. Shadow has lost his best years in their tiny concrete cage, and the Newport News Peninsula SPCA has no justifiable reason to deny him the generous offer of placement that awaits him at The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. Every day they spend ignoring the offer - and the 180,000 people who have asked them to accept it - is one day less that Shadow will have to experience life as a leopard, before he dies.
