Two years ago your support helped 10 orcas and 87 belugas to get freedom from Whale Jail.

Recently we visited a Whale Jail in Srednja Bay near Nakhodka in the Russian Far East. This jail is empty now, but it looks absolutely the same as it was 3 years ago and it is ready to get new prisoners. Until there is no ban on catching whales for entertainment shows in Russia and there is high demand from Chinese ocean parks for new orcas and belugas there is always a high possibility that whaling will be continued. And owners of whale prisons just wait for it.

I ask you about URGENT ACTION - please sign two petitions in support of a new bill which is waiting for consideration in the Russian Parliament. This bill is directed to ban catching of marine mammals for entertainment. It has powerful opponents from the whaling lobby and definitely needs your support !
