It's awesome to see the petition still growing strong as we close in on 50,000 supporters! I am still very hopeful that a limited theatrical release is possible and achievable, so that we can appreciate and support this film in the way it was made for!

On the topic of supporting artists, there have been many comments circulating on social media, as well as a petition regarding the unfortunate leaks of the film. You may feel it is harmless to consume these leaks or you're "sticking it" to Paramount, but in reality, you are only harming the artists who took years of their lives to bring you this movie. The success of this film will directly impact the future of Avatar Studios. That means real consequences for the people behind it—animators, editors, sound designers, mixers, colorists, storyboard artists, voice actors, and many, many more—whether they’re salaried or working contract to contract. Their next job, their opportunities, and whether more projects like this get made are all tied to how this film performs. If this movie underperforms because people choose to watch it illegally, studios become more cautious. Fewer risks are taken. Fewer projects get greenlit. And fewer artists get hired. In a time when it has become increasingly difficult to work within the arts, directly harming the job security of the artists in Avatar Studios is the last thing we should want.

Not only that, but whatever has leaked is not the finished version that the artists intended you to view. By viewing these leaks, you are depriving these artists of the chance to present you with their work on their terms.  We should consume the version of the film the artists intended, not any unfinished, illegally obtained leaks that do not properly reflect the final film.

If you genuinely care about supporting artists and Avatar Studios, don’t watch or spread the leak. Wait for the official release and support it the way it was meant to be experienced.
