Gears of War: E-Day will be available on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, cloud, and is XBOX Play Anywhere. Play it day one with Game Pass Ultimate. Also available on Steam.

The new game is releasing October 6th 2026 and currently is Xbox console EXCLUSIVE. Hoping for a release to be brought to PlayStation.

The most obvious argument is market reach. Releasing on PlayStation would expose the game to millions of additional players who don't own Xbox hardware. Even if only a fraction of PlayStation users buy the game, that could translate into substantial additional revenue.
