Whatever you believe transpired that evening that led to the brutal shooting of Rodney Wilson by the Wilmington Police Department and New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, I hope we can all agree that transparency and accountability are vital in policing. Rodney, his family, and our entire community deserve to know whether what the DA has concluded is valid. Especially with multiple bystanders telling a different story of the events, and audio recordings of the shooting that raise questions.
If you would, please take a moment to contact one of the Top Decision Makers listed on the petition. We have contact info for Mayor Saffo, Sheriff McMahon, and Councilman David Joyner. Let them know personally that you demand the release of the footage. I have emailed Saffo, McMahon, and Joyner to alert them to the existence of this petition.
