Release a second Electric Mayhem album and re-release the 2023 album on CD!
The Issue
Back in 2023, the Muppet rock band; Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, finally recorded their first album to promote the release of the Disney+ series: The Muppets Mayhem, releasing it digitally and on vinyl. The TV show and album made the Electric Mayhem band some of the most popular characters in the franchise, causing The Muppets Mayhem to become the most successful Muppet production since The Muppets (2011), and the very first track on their first album reached #1 on the Kids Billboard Chart for a good portion of 2023, making Rock On the Muppet band's most popular song! The music album as a whole was also extremely successful on the Kids Albums Chart.
Now that the very first official album of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem as made the Muppet band more popular than ever, including two new concerts in the April of 2024, so many people want to see more of Dr. Teeth, the groovy leader and keyboardist; Sgt. Floyd Pepper, the sarcastic and hip bassist; Janice, the relaxed and hippie lead guitarist; Zoot, the forgetful, sleepy, and spacey saxophonist; Animal, the wild, crazy, and primal drummer; and Lips, the passionate trumpeter who can only speak through mumbles.
While it's great to see that the Electric Mayhem's first album has been released on vinyl, including the cause of more Electric Mayhem songs to be released digitally, people are starting to treat Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem as a real band more with The Muppets Mayhem, which Disney unfortunately canceled after season 1 ended.
These days, CD's are becoming more and more forgotten and criminally underrated, with the score combo of Muppets Most Wanted (2014) and The Muppets (2011) to be the last Muppet CD ever released! Considering how popular the first Electric Mayhem album from 2023 is on music streaming and vinyl, Walt Disney Records should re-release it on CD, since the modern generation really needs to know how great and magical CD's are. Just like the digital and vinyl soundtrack releases for The Muppets Mayhem, the same Electric Mayhem songs should be used if it ever gets re-released on CD, along with a lyric booklet including:
- Rock On
- Gotta Be
- True Colors
- The Sound of Us
- Have a Little Faith In Me
- Join Together
- We Are One
- Can You Picture That?
- God Only Knows
- On Our Way
- Bridge Over Troubled Water
- Rock and Roll All Nite
- Gonna Get There
- Believe In Us (Extended Version)
- Makin' Mayhem [feat. Sofia Carson]
- All You Need Is Love
- MAYHEM!
In addition to the perfect The Muppets Mayhem soundtrack getting a perfect CD release I much more would want the Electric Mayhem getting a second album released digitally, on vinyl, and on CD. Now that The Muppets Mayhem gave the Electric Mayhem a ton of original songs that's the most they've ever had, so many Muppet fans including myself would be greatly enthusiastic if a second Electric Mayhem album was released, also with lyrics on the CD and digital releases. The Electric Mayhem songs that should be put on the second album of Dr. Teeth, Animal, and the gang, this should definitely be the track listing of the songs:
- Can You Picture That? (from The Muppet Movie)
- Rock On (from The Muppets Mayhem)
- Don't Blame the Dynamite (from The Muppet Show)
- You Can't Take No for an Answer (from The Muppets Take Manhattan)
- Love Ya to Death (from The Muppet Show Pilot)
- Night Life (from The Great Muppet Caper)
- No Room for Boring (from a Toyota Highlander commercial (2014))
- Fozziwig's Party Waltz [feat. Rowlf the Dog] (from The Muppet Christmas Carol)
- Rockin' All Around the World [feat. Clifford] (from The Muppets at Walt Disney World)
- Sweet Tooth Jam (from The Muppet Show)
- Total Mayhem (from Muppets Most Wanted)
- Nap Time (from The Muppets' Wizard of Oz
- Fugue for Frog [feat. Dolores] (from The Muppet Show)
So many Muppet fans and I would deeply appreciate it and be super grateful if Dr. Teeth, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, Animal, and Lips released a second album digitally, on vinyl, and on CD. It would also be super cool if their very first album got a re-released on the underrated music format known as CD. I believe that now is the time to act, since The Muppets Mayhem (2023) made Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem more popular than ever before. Good luck, fellow Muppet fans! I have faith in you, because since Disney canceled the Disney+ series after one season, we're gonna do it for the MAYHEM!
