Dear patriotic friend of Sri Lanka,

Hope you are well and looking forward to a good time, with the improved weather and COVID restrictions lifted. In the meantime, challenging the Tamil Genocide Fallacy in courts; a matter of national importance for mother Lanka is reaching its finale.

4 groups, representing 60 Tamil organizations wanted to get intervener status and oppose the lawsuit filed against TGEWA. The hearing about whether it's to be granted was held last week.

You are invited to a town hall meeting to inform the outcome of the hearing and the path forward.  We are planning to get a member of our team of lawyers to address you too.

The hearing of the main case is scheduled to be on May 23, 24. The next few weeks will be a busy period for our lawyers and the team. Also some school boards are planning Education week May 11-18 for TGEWA and few initiatives planned around it. Please take an initiative to do your duty to your family, community, province, Canada and Sri Lanka given the many competing priorities and circumstances.

වැඩිදියුණු වූ කාලගුණය සහ COVID සීමාවන් ඉවත් කිරීමත් සමඟ ඔබ ඉදිරි මාස කිහිපය සැහැල්ලුවෙන් ගත කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වනවා ඇති. මේ අතර ලංකා මාතාවට ජාතික වැදගත්කමක් ඇති කාරණයක් වන, දෙමළ ජන සංහාර මිත්‍යාව උසාවියේදී අභියෝග කිරීම එහි අවසන් අදියරට පැමිණෙමින් තිබේ.

ද්‍රවිඩ සංවිධාන 60ක් නියෝජනය කරමින් කණ්ඩායම් 4කට, අප විසින් TGEWA ට එරෙහිව පවරා ඇති නඩුවට විරුද්ධව මැදිහත් වීමේ තත්ත්වය ලබා ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය වූ අතර, එය ලබා දෙන්නේද යන්න පිළිබඳ විභාගය පසුගිය සතියේ පැවැත්විණි. 

එහි ප්‍රතිඵලය සහ ඉදිරි ගමන දැනුම් දීම සඳහා පවත්වන රැස්වීමකට අපි ඔබට ආරාධනා කරමු. ඔබ ඇමතීමට අපගේ නීතිඥ කණ්ඩායමේ සාමාජිකයෙකු ගෙන්වා ගැනීමටද  අපි සැලසුම් කරමු. 

ප්‍රධාන නඩුවේ විභාගය මැයි 23, 24 පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. ඉදිරි සති කිහිපය අපේ නීතිඥවරුන්ට සහ කණ්ඩායමට කාර්යබහුල කාලයක් වේවි.

එසේම, සමහර පාසල් මණ්ඩල TGEWA සඳහා මැයි 11-18 අධ්‍යාපන සතිය සැලසුම් කරති. එය ගැන අප දරුවන් හට කියා දී, සුදානම් කිරීමද ළඟදී සිදු කෙරේ.
