We are delighted to announce that the GoFundMe fund to collect fees for legal costs to repeal Tamil Genocide Education Week (TGEWA) has surpassed $61,000!
 
We would like to acknowledge the effort of all volunteers and organisations who have organized many fundraisers to get to this point. Our special appreciation to the Brampton Association for being part of the legal case and also to recognize their ongoing efforts that yielded to be the highest contributing association. This include proceeds of $1586 that was collected from the July 31st Keerthi Pasquel show (cancelled due to Mr. Pasquel’s health condition) forwarded towards the September 4th musical event featuring Mariazelle Goonetilleke, Sohan Weerasinghe and Annesley Malawana (click here to buy tickets, if you still have not), organized by SLCAC and SLCCC.
 
It is expected that the case will be filed within a week or two. We will keep  you all informed.
