Help Us Protect Bowness!

It has been a while since you have heard from me...

Despite our pleas to Calgary City Planning, Development Permits for three high-density residential infill developments at 4648, 4652, and 4656 83 Street NW will be approved on June 12, 2025.

As a result, we’re raising funds to oppose these infill developments to the Subdivision Development and Appeal Board (SDAB). The proposed development permits will generate 26 units where three single-family homes previously existed. With onsite parking for only 13 vehicles and no accommodation for visitors, deliveries and move-in and move-out services, this development will threaten the unique character, livability, and infrastructure of our community.

We need your support as we seek to hire a transportation consultant and professional guidance for an Appeal to the SDAB to ensure community concerns are taken seriously and the City of Calgary hears our voice!

🔹 Residents of 83 St. NW have pledged $500 per household


🔹 Our goal is to raise: $10,000

🔹 Any extra funds and knowledge gained through the Appeal will be used to support similar cases in Bowness and other Calgary communities facing similar threats
