Thank you for signing and supporting the petition on rejecting solar panels and electric vehicles taxation in Pakistan’s Federal Budget 2026–27.  With the Finance Bill 2026 now passed, it is clear that public response (including your support!) played a role in shaping how solar generation and electric vehicles were viewed. Earlier signals around taxing these technologies raised serious concerns, given that such measures would come at a real cost to households, businesses, and Pakistan’s energy transition.

This effort was never just about a single proposal, it was about ensuring that a citizen-led energy transition is supported, not penalized. This transition has been led by the people, and policy now needs to catch up. Thank you again for adding your voice to this effort.
