Reinstate Vans Warped Tour in Montreal for 2027
Le problème
The Vans Warped Tour has always been more than just a music festival for us. It's a beloved event that brings together individuals from all walks of life who share a love for punk rock, alternative, and the vibrant culture that surrounds this genre. Imagine the thrill of finding your favorite band, discovering new music, and sharing those unforgettable moments with friends and people who get your vibe. In 2026, when the Vans Warped Tour returned to Canada after a brief hiatus, it was a moment we had eagerly awaited. The event was a resounding success, with 51,000 passionate fans attending over the weekend. This turnout, which reflects the strong enthusiasm for the tour in our province and country, was a testament to the vibrant music scene we have.
Evenko, a key partner in organizing the event, decided not to bring it back, offering no clear reason. This decision has left a void in our hearts and an unfulfilled longing for the community and connection that the Vans Warped Tour fostered. It's frustrating to know that such a successful event was halted despite its demonstrated popularity and potential for growth.
Our request is straightforward: We want to see the Vans Warped Tour return to Montreal by 2027. To achieve this, we implore Evenko to reconsider their position and recognize the cultural and economic benefits that such an event brings. The Vans Warped Tour is not just a concert; it's a cultural touchstone that enriches Montreal's diverse music scene and supports local vendors, promotes tourism, and fosters a sense of community among fans.
Let's remind Evenko of the power of music and its ability to connect and uplift us. By working together, we can bring back an event that is cherished by thousands and ensure that future generations can also experience the magic of the Vans Warped Tour in Montreal.
Please sign this petition to show your support and help bring the Vans Warped Tour back to Montreal by 2027. Let's revive the spirit of live music and create opportunities for shared community experiences once more.
