I’m happy to say that from Monday 23rd July, we'll have an extra morning weekday train service! https://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/content/download/181516/1013267/file/Seaford_&_Tonsley_train_ttable_routemap_23-07-18_V2.pdf This will leave Marino Rocks at 8:25am, Marino at 8:26am and Seacliff at 8:28am, then stop at all stations to Woodlands Park, before arriving in the city at 8:53am. This service will provide our community with: - an extra option to get into the city before 9am. - a way for many of our students to once again be able to get on and off at a number of stops along the line for school. - a maximum wait time of 21 minutes from 6am until 8:39am, as opposed to the current 35 minutes. Over the past 3 months, we have done our best to build awareness of the issues raised by the 1,105 people who supported this petition. I’m sure we all would have liked to have regained more peak trains to and from the city. However, this additional service will rectify the biggest of the issues from the April timetable update and quickly benefit a huge part of our community. I’d like to highlight the vital role our schools played in this, particularly Westminster, our politicians including Nicolle Flint and David Speirs, the CoastCity Weekly newspaper and the massive contribution from our Marino Residents’ Association 5049. Most importantly though, I’d like to say thanks for all of the help and support from you and the whole Marino and Seacliff community. Thanks Andy
