Thank you to everyone who signed and supported this petition. I am happy to announce that as a result of all the support we attracted Telford and Wrekin council have agreed to a solution which meets the needs of all users of Hartshill Park. 

Following the massive support we received in the petition and coverage in the Shropshire Star, representatives from Lawley Lightmoor Football club met with the council on 15th November. We jointly worked together on a viable solution that means organised football, recreational football and the concerns of the residents were all satisfied.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank a few key organisation and individuals with their help; Kirsty Smallman from J&PR, Karl Williams - Chairman Lawley Lightmoor FC, The Telford Junior League committee and all clubs that shared this campaign, Mark Neate - Chairman of NC Utd and finally to Telford and Wrekin Council for working collaboratively with us to make sure we could keep the children playing football.
