I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year.

I am sending an update as this topic recently got raised in the form of a question to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride MP.

Richard Burgon, Labour MP for East Leeds, posed the question and urged the government to reinstate the Disability Cost of Living Payment.

He also urged the government to increase it to a level that 'meets the extra living costs faced by disabled people'. In response, the minister being questioned claimed to have no knowledge of the payment being dropped, but made no committments for future payments. 

In light of this development, it would be amazing if everybody could share the petition to friends and family and help it reach 1,000 signatures by the end of 2023!
