We soldier on!

The campaign to reinstate the mobile breast screening service in the town goes on! This week, Warminster Town Council added their weight to try to gain assurance that the location for breast screening for eligible Avenue Surgery patients will be in Warminster itself for the next round in 2028. Despite the support of the Avenue Surgery partners and their Patient Group, our MP, the Town Council, members of the Warminster Area Board - plus over 850 of you -  we are still receiving push back and retrospective justification of the decision to site the unit at Westbury. I also raised the issue at the Wiltshire Council HWB Board today but memories are short – and corporate memory even more so. If, like me, you think that this is important to your community, please encourage others to sign the petition either online or in the Avenue Surgery, Coates and Parker, the Athenaeum or the WAG House.
