I felt it is time for an update. The petition was sent in three weeks ago and we have not received a response. Since then almost 200 more signatures have been added. I would really love to get to 1000 signatures so they can't ignore us. Believe it or not there are still people who don't know that the Adult Programmer position has been cut! Many of the groups that still meet at the library are worried about the future of their programs and if they can survive or will have to move out of the library going forward. So, please, if you haven't yet signed do so now. If you have signed please forward a copy of the link to the petition to everyone you know in the Weyburn area. Another way you can help is by writing letters of your own personal experience with the Adult Program at the Weyburn Public Library and sending them to the decision makers I have listed. Use your voice, use it loud, and force them to listen!
