Discrimination on ALL levels

Not only was the agency focused on generating revenue and bias based policing where certain ethnicities were targeted illegally, AGE discrimination was rampant. 

Have you ever wondered why almost all of the experienced officers are gone?

Because the former chief was allowed to get rid of anyone focused on police work and who had the experience to know better than to focus on generating revenue.   He purposely SAID out loud he wanted to get rid of the “older officers” and replace them with younger officers he could mold in his own image.  

That means ignoring a litany of offenses like individuals allegedly driving drunk on and off duty, alleged domestic abuse, and various other alleged issues that would shock the public.  So long as revenue was being generated that’s all that mattered.   

Appointing a new chief is one good step in the right direction, but until all leadership is headed in the same direction and until ALL of the corrupt parties are excised from town government then change will be very slow if not impossible.

I ask again, how much is your families safety and the community’s well being worth?  Speak your mind.  Let the politicians know.   You have a say in who works for you.
