In 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) rudely reclassified Pluto, effectively demoting it from the status of a beloved planet to a mere "dwarf planet." This is absolutely outrageous. Pluto is deserving of the planet title just as much as Jupiter or Earth is. Since this horrible wounding event, Pluto has been floating around in the cold abyss of our Solar System, crying himself to sleep every night, wondering what he did to deserve this. 

Now let's be honest. Pluto didn't change. We did. 

Let's review the facts:

• He round
• He orbits the Sun
• He minds his own business, billions of miles away
• He's adorable

But the only thing he hasn't done is cleared his orbit? That's the problem? Pathetic. Pluto is worthy enough, and no one has bothered to pay attention to him to notice how hurt he is. Jupiter's out there flexing his size, Saturn's showing off his rings, all of them too busy to notice our beloved Pluto floating around crying, 

This is absolutely, positively, the single worst thing our planet has ever done. Give Pluto his title back. 

As an official Pluto supporter, I demand

• Immediate reinstatement of Pluto's Planetary position
• A formal apology written and signed by every planet and NASA
• A televised ceremony with NASA and the President welcoming Pluto back to the Solar System
• A chocolate cake with "Welcome Back PLANET Pluto" written on it in glittery gold frosting

If Pluto's title as a Planet is not given back to him, this could severely anger him. He may retaliate against Earth and cause an all-out war. Don't let this happen. Sign the petition to make Pluto feel better, and fix the shattered relationship between NASA, the other planets, and him.
