While Novalee Pfeffer was not reinstated as the Outpatient Program Manager for the Robertson County Recovery Court Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), this movement has been nothing short of a victory of the heart and spirit.

Through this petition, our community came together—participants, families, colleagues, and friends—to share how deeply Novalee’s leadership touched their lives. The stories, signatures, and heartfelt words illuminated the profound impact one dedicated, compassionate person can have on an entire recovery community.

This petition sparked something larger than a position—it sparked awareness. It reminded everyone that recovery is built on trust, empathy, and human connection. It showed that leadership grounded in lived experience and compassion can transform lives and strengthen entire communities.

Though the outcome we hoped for did not come to pass, this collective effort has made sure Novalee’s legacy and the positive change she brought will not be forgotten. Her work continues to inspire others to lead with heart, to support those in recovery, and to believe in second chances.

To everyone who stood with us—thank you. Your voices mattered. Your unity mattered. And because of you, the light Novalee ignited in this program will continue to shine through every life she’s touched.
