Update for District 15 - Write District 15's Superintendent

"Students will qualify for the top tier if they score in the top 15% of their individual school, or in the top 15% of all city eighth graders – whichever cutoff is lower. That means at some high-performing middle schools with lots of students with high grades, more than 15% of students will qualify." Please email Superintendent  Alvarez at  RAlvare4@schools.nyc.gov and let him know that District 15 students need an equal footing. Without a clear way of showing a student's academic grade how is he or she to prove that he or she is in the top 15% of their class which is now an entry mechanism for upper tier High Schools in NYC?
