I'm Darryl, a dedicated Lyft driver who has been wrongfully deactivated due to false safety claims. It's hard to overstate the devastation this has caused to my life, particularly when it feels like I'm being unfairly targeted for reasons beyond my control. Accused of speeding and running a red light, allegations entirely baseless and wrong, I took immediate action to clear my name. I presented clear, irrefutable evidence in my defense including dashcam footage and detailed speed data confirming that my average speed was a mere 13 MPH, a speed undeniably within safe driving limits.

Despite this, Lyft proceeded to permanently ban me from their platform without conducting a fair investigation into my claims. This decision has unjustly stripped me of my primary source of income, leaving me struggling to support myself and my family.

Furthermore, it's deeply personal and painful to feel like I'm repeatedly facing discrimination, simply for the color of my skin. I've worked diligently and with integrity all my life, believing that hard work and perseverance would ultimately be rewarded with respect and opportunity. Yet, recurrently, I find myself on the receiving end of unfair treatment and unwarranted punishment, forced to grapple with the harsh reality that my efforts and honesty are overshadowed by bias and prejudice.
