As a devoted fan of The Daily Show, I have been deeply impacted by the changes in hosting over the years. Jon Stewart, an icon and a master of satire, has left an indelible mark on the show and its audience. His unique blend of humor and incisive political commentary made The Daily Show more than just entertainment; it became a beacon for critical thinking in a sea of media noise.

Under Jon's stewardship from 1999 to 2015, The Daily Show won 22 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards (source: IMDb). His influence extended beyond television screens; he shaped public discourse around important issues like politics, social justice, and media ethics. However, since his departure, many fans feel that the show has lost some of its original spark. It's wonderful that he has recently come back one night a week, but let's be honest: it's only made it that much more obvious that he's the host we want and need. 

We believe that reinstating Jon Stewart as full-time host would not only boost ratings but also restore the quality content that we've come to expect from The Daily Show. It is our belief that no one else can fill his shoes adequately. No more waiting around for Monday episodes! We love the rest of the team, but it's just not the same.
