Facebook has a long history of blocking accounts of civilians in Kashmir and abroad. Anyone supporting Kashmir is targeted by Facebook moderators. Their flawed procedures was highlighted in the Guardian  last year .

Jasmine DM is a leading campaigner from the Philippines. She has supported the plight of the Kashmiri people. For posting media articles, she has suffered repeated bans therefore censoring her posts. This week Jasmine was banned for 30 days for posting a media image shared by the local and national media. It comes two weeks after Jasmine screen shot and published the various reports by human rights groups. 

Facebook does not have a grievance procedure. It does not respond to mail. We found members of its staff monitoring our posts and supporting India while threatening to take our accounts down. I have been banned for 7 days for posting material on a Valentine's date offer. Their own moderators haven't read Facebook's terms and conditions. It is abundantly clear that Facebook is supporting Indias position in violating human rights in Kashmir. Moreover, it's doing India's bidding by harassing civil rights campaigners.
