Reinstate Gas and Diesel UTVs as Conforming Vehicles in Innsbrook Resort

The Issue

My family, like many others in our community, has made a significant financial commitment to our lifestyle here at Innsbrook Resort. We have invested not only in our homes but also in vehicles that allow us to fully enjoy the amenities we pay for through our Homeowners Association (HOA) dues. One of these investments is our Polaris Ranger, a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) that serves as more than just transportation for us—it's an essential tool.

Recently, changes to the 13th amendment have altered the status of gas and diesel UTVs like ours. They are no longer considered conforming vehicles for use on resort roads and common grounds. This change has significantly impacted how we can access and participate in the amenities we've paid for.

The use of UTVs is not uncommon or unreasonable—according to data from Statista, there were approximately 1.2 million registered off-highway recreational vehicles (including UTVs) in the United States alone as of 2017. These versatile vehicles are used by families across America for both work and play.

We urge those responsible to revise this newly altered amendment—reinstate gas and diesel UTVs as conforming vehicles at Innsbrook Resort once again. Let us continue using these practical tools without unnecessary restrictions so we can fully enjoy what we've invested so much into.

Please sign this petition if you believe that residents should be able to utilize their own property freely within reasonable regulations—and especially if you're one of many who have been affected by this change.
