Child Protective Services in North Carolina have unjustly denied me full physical custody of my dear children. Despite having corrected the conditions that led to their removal, my rights as a parent remain unsatisfied. My story, unfortunately, is not a singular narrative. According to the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, North Carolina has one of the highest rates of children in foster care compared to national standards.
