Call to Action (TAKES 5 MINS)

I've received a confirmation this morning that the reopening of this matter has been escalated to the senior wheelchair team.

Initially this had been escalated to the integrated care board and we didn't get a positive outcome after 5 months of waiting, so I am expecting a generic response that they will not be reopening this.

I have directly asked Dr Beccy Cooper MP to ACT on this. It's disappointing that I have heard very little from her team on this despite their obvious attempts to curate a public image of caring deeply for our children. I am demanding they take real, practical steps that are in line with the words they say and the values they claim.

I am asking you all once again to do the same. I will not manage to overturn this on my own.

Perhaps cynically, I believe that this is because these decision makers and policiticians do not  genuinely care, they simply respond to pressure. So let's put that pressure on.
