Rehire Justin Chapman from Inanimate Insanity!

The Issue

Justin Chapman is a talented American director, writer, voice actor, audio editor, and one of the original founding members of the beloved YouTube object show Inanimate Insanity. For over a decade, Justin poured his heart and soul into the series, helping shape it into the iconic animated competition we all know and love today.

He voiced some of the most memorable and fan-favorite characters across multiple seasons: the sharp-tongued Knife (a fan-favorite protagonist in Season 1 and II), the anxious yet hilarious Paper, the chaotic Goo, the dramatic and scheming Silver Spoon in Inanimate Insanity Invitational, the helpful assistant MePad, J.U.S.T.I.N., and many more. Beyond voicing, Justin served as a series director and audio editor on Inanimate Insanity Invitational, bringing crisp sound design, perfect timing, and that signature chaotic energy that made every episode feel alive.

In early 2025, following controversy and allegations of misconduct, Justin was let go from the production team. Since then, his iconic characters have been recast with new voice actors. While we respect the team’s decisions, the truth is undeniable to longtime fans: the new voices simply don’t carry the same soul, personality, or comedic timing that Justin brought to these roles. Knife’s sarcastic bite feels flatter, Paper’s nervousness hits different, Silver Spoon’s over-the-top drama just isn’t the same, and the overall vibe of the show has lost that irreplaceable spark.

Inanimate Insanity without Justin Chapman feels… well, more Inanimate than Insane. His unique talent helped define the show for an entire generation of object show fans. Countless viewers grew up quoting his lines, laughing at his delivery, and connecting with the characters he helped bring to life. The recasts are a constant reminder that something essential is missing — and the community is speaking up.

We, the fans of Inanimate Insanity and the entire Object Show Community, are asking Adam Katz and the full production team to reconsider and rehire Justin Chapman. Bring back the original voices, the original energy, and the heart that made this show special. We want Inanimate Insanity to feel complete again!

Please sign and share this petition if you miss the real Knife, the real Paper, the real Silver Spoon, and the magic Justin added to every episode. Let’s show the team how much we need him back. Together we can make a difference — Justin deserves to return, and the show deserves its full soul!
