THE ISA: Your Data Was Shared Without Your Consent
Did you apply for a job with a Workday-integrated company? Your personal data may have been transferred—without your knowledge or explicit consent—to fuel Workday’s AI/ML hiring models.
According to Workday’s own data processing exhibit (via their ISA):
Job applicants, employees, prospects & even beneficiaries
Personal data including ethnicity, health data, performance history, pay, military records, passport info, union affiliations, and more
Used to build algorithmic hiring tools, often without transparency or opt-out options
These profiles are then scored, filtered, and trained into models used to “optimize” hiring, often excluding candidates before human review.
You likely never saw a consent screen. Never signed approval. Yet your name, career, and protected data are being used to train Workday’s machine learning and scoring systems.
It’s time for accountability.
If you’ve been ghosted by 100s of applications, flagged without reason, or feel algorithmically excluded—you’re not alone.
