Happy Holidays and cheers to the new year.

It seems people are becoming more vocal about their experiences on sites such as LinkedIn, (employHer) shares personal stories daily, Reddit and X.

Endlessly, heartbreaking experiences that are very similar in nature and looking for answers. Their unemployment timelines ranging from 6 months to 2 years with 600-3,000 applications sent in.

It’s been shared that unemployment has increased from 13.6% compared to last year with various factors tossed in that are not remarkable compared to prior years… with the exception of AI being introduced and steadily climbing since 2020.

The long term unemployment rate is .98%

Bureau of Labor Statistics Report:

Currently, 1.7 million people have been unemployed for 27 weeks or longer however that number DOES Not include the 5.5 million people that are unemployed and looking.
