Please someone WakeMeUp!! . I'm having a very bad dream! Im feeling pained by this level of societal irresponsibility to allow auditory pornography to continue to bombard young undeveloped minds. Before we start blaming the parents for allowing their children to attend a public event in the day, in a city where children live and hangout and, let's ask ourself a few salient questions:
1) Why On Saturday 11 February, 2024 around 10AM while I was at a salon in the heart of Roseau with my friends' 5 year old girlchild *that song* was being played continuously within earshot of minors?
2)What or who made an over a year-old advocacy to ban explicit music playing publicly, fallen on the deaf ear of our Chief of Police, Attorney General, Minister of National Security and Legal Affairs, and DPP (Ag)?
3) What happen to the moral compass of the producers, DJs and band organizers?
4) Are we directly preparing our children to boost the sex tourism industry or to make them an easy prey for pedophiles?
5) Do you see this as a form of child abuse?
6) Are you willing to strengthen the fight to bring down this Domestic Violence monster?
