Every weekday, I start my day with a crucial 40-minute bus ride from my home to Central London for work. However, the irregularity of the bus schedule causes significant disruptions, often making me late. It's not just an inconvenience; it's a major source of daily stress, as I rely heavily on public transport to ensure punctuality and efficiency in my work life.

This issue doesn’t just affect me, but countless others who depend on the bus services across Central London. Many of us face the frustrating unpredictability of bus arrivals and departures, leading to lost time, missed appointments, and a sheer waste of potential productivity. And as a lawyer I cant afford to  be late meaning that to get there on time reliably i have to get up at 5:30am and if i oversleep i can get in serious trouble

In a city as bustling and vibrant as London, efficient and reliable public transportation is essential. According to the London Assembly Transport Committee, inconsistent bus services contribute significantly to daily delays and dissatisfaction among commuters. Implementing a more regulated and accountable bus timetable would greatly enhance the quality of life for hundreds of thousands of daily bus users.

The solution is both simple and actionable. We urge Transport for London (TfL) to take immediate steps to regulate and monitor bus schedules rigorously. By introducing stricter adherence to timetables and employing modern tracking technologies, TfL can ensure buses are more punctual and reliable. These improvements will not only alleviate daily commuting stresses but will also enhance the overall urban mobility infrastructure of our city.
