Your signature, comments, and hard work have a made a difference! The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has allocated $250,000* to complete the research for a NEW ANIMAL SHELTER.

The county will use the approved funds to hire an experienced architectural firm. The firm will provide a feasibility study which will cover needs assessment, space recommendation, site evaluation, location selection, conceptual design and cost estimates for a new shelter. The feasibility study is projected to be completed by end of 2019.**

Additional budget is expected to be allocated in 2020 for the design and construction of the new facility. The buildout is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
