With tentative budget cuts in Regional School District 16 (Prospect/Beacon Falls, CT), the position of Career Counselor at Woodland Regional High School is in jeopardy. Jim Staib is currently in this position, fighting for his job. In addition to being a good friend of the family, Jim was also an integral key in establishing the internship program at WRHS for juniors and seniors; the program did not exist before him. He took it from part-time to full-time role, serving over 200 students since the program's beginnings. We, the undersigned, have a stake in the continuation of this position, with Jim Staib as the counselor, as one of the following: RSD 16 parent, RSD former or current student, RSD 16 taxpayer, or local business owner.
