Well here it is, the presentation of the petition to see Whitchurch Athletics Track Regenerated!

I start speaking at 1:17:01 and after the response of the four political parties the segment concludes at 1:35:07
We're not coming off the gas. We're continuing to press forward with the Community Right to Bid where we could actually buy the cycling centre and track off the Council - watch this space for more details.
Also, Whitchurch and Hengrove Councillor Tim Kent wanted to support us in getting better access to the track by local people. Not just through a hole in the fence but organised sessions for those who want to use it.
Amazingly, the four political parties were unanimous in supporting us. We will certainly be keeping a close eye to make sure nice words become concrete actions.
Thanks to all of you who submitted statements and questions.
Big thanks to four times world champion Ironman Triathlon champion Chrissie Wellington OBE (see photo) who read a statement along with Gary Hopkins and Jim Kyle.
We press on and we won't stop until the track is saved and the Bristol Family Cycling Centre stays open. Tonight was a great step forward and a springboard to bigger and better things ahead!!
We're going to keep this petition running as we can't declare victory until we have the track - hopefully soon!
