Scott Ainslie and Pete Elliott are standing for election on both sides of Central Hill road: Streatham & Croydon North and Dulwich & West Norwood.

For the Community

Scott and Pete stand by local communities facing demolition, such as on Central Hill Estate, and residents across the constituencies facing repair needs and eviction. They also actively campaign for those facing persecution and starvation in Gaza.

Campaigning to Save Homes and Lives - Here and in Gaza!

Green Councillor Scott Ainslie put forward a motion to Lambeth Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an international investigation into war crimes, which was almost unanimously opposed by every single Labour councillor.

The Only Choice

Scott and Pete are standing against Steve Reed and Helen Hayes, our current MPs for Streatham & Croydon North and Dulwich & West Norwood, who both chose for the atrocities to continue as they abstained from voting for a ceasefire.

Fighting Estate Demolition

This is not the first time our current MPs have supported the displacement of under-privileged communities. As leader of Lambeth Council, Steve spearheaded the unviable and unenvironmental plans to demolish and rebuild six of the borough's estates - Using council money not to build homes for local people, but hundreds of additional high-end, open-market properties to be sold for investment.

Pete and Scott oppose private developers on council land.

Helen Hayes endorsed and campaigned for Matthew Bennett, the Gipsy Hill councillor, who, working with Savills, the property investors, set up Homes for Lambeth and furthered the decline of our estates.

The Greens said Homes for Lambeth would fail

Displacement and Debt

This doomed and unworkable scheme has led to the displacement of hundreds of families, destroyed communities and left Lambeth with debts totalling over £850m. Whilst our estates are littered with empty homes, hundreds of Lambeth families live in appalling conditions in temporary accommodation across the borough.
