Come and support the call to stop cutting down trees tomorrow and for Lambeth to reset its plans for regeneration.

Trees help us with our mental and physical well-being.  They filter our pollutants and provide a habitant for animals, birds and other wildlife.  

They take years to grow.  Yet, Lambeth planning department, instead of protecting these amazing beings, approve their destruction.

It's the 4th anniversary of Lambeth's declaration of a climate emergency.  Building is the most environmentally, and mentally, damaging activity a council can do.

A brick emits 700g of carbon equivalent into the atmosphere, whilst a fully grown tree absorbs 5 - 20kg a year.  As you can see, data is stacked against these developments.

There'll be tree decorations and comments on leaves to present to the council.
