Refunds for Consumers Scammed by Spocket: End Illegal Practices!

Il problema

Who is impacted?

Spocket, a dropshipping platform, has affected thousands of consumers, including myself, by illegally charging money even after accounts were canceled. This is not an isolated issue: countless users report unauthorized charges that continue despite repeated complaints and promises to cancel accounts. Adding insult to injury, many positive reviews on Trustpilot and other platforms appear fake, written by accounts with only one review. This tactic hides the true experiences of scammed users, creating a false image of reliability while money is taken without consent. This issue is not just about me—it affects every consumer who deserves transparency and justice.

What’s at stake?

If action is not taken, these practices will not only continue but worsen. More consumers will fall into the same trap, watching their accounts drained without any recourse. Spocket will continue to thrive at the expense of deceived consumers, using fake reviews to maintain their reputation and evade accountability. On the other hand, immediate and decisive action could restore dignity and justice to those who have been scammed. Refunding scammed consumers is not only the right thing to do—it sends a clear message that these practices will no longer be tolerated. Change means protecting future consumers and building a fairer system.

Why act now?

We cannot wait any longer. With every passing month, new victims are targeted by these unethical practices. Inaction only benefits Spocket, allowing it to continue operating without consequences. Now is the time to act: to secure immediate refunds for all scammed consumers, launch investigations into their business practices, and introduce regulations to ensure transparency and consumer protection. Justice cannot wait any longer—it’s time to stop Spocket and ensure no one else faces the same ordeal.

We demand that:

1. Spocket fully refund all users who have been charged without authorization.

2. Investigations be launched into their business practices and the potential use of fake reviews to mislead the public.

3. New laws or regulations be introduced to prevent and penalize such practices, ensuring consumer protection.

4. Clear, transparent, and immediate systems be implemented for account cancellation and dispute resolution.

This is not just about justice—it’s about holding an evidently protected company accountable. Spocket’s unchecked practices suggest they are shielded by someone or something, but together we can break that shield. By making noise and standing united, we aim to expose and intimidate this company into doing the right thing. It’s time to fight back and demand what is owed to us.

Sign this petition to demand action and ensure fair treatment for all: together, we can end this cycle of exploitation and deception.

John Hendrix, a representative from Spocket, personally assured me via email that my account would be canceled after a free trial month, following my request for termination. Despite this promise, months have passed, and I am still being charged unlawfully.

When I attempt to log into Spocket to resolve the issue, I encounter a "credit card error" message. However, this error does not stop them from successfully withdrawing money from my account. This is clearly a deliberate tactic: Spocket blocks users from accessing their accounts while continuing to take unauthorized payments.

This approach is an evident strategy to prevent users—who notice these illegal charges—from canceling their accounts. Spocket’s priority appears to be maximizing revenue through deceitful and unethical means, hiding behind nonsensical refund policies that lack any legal foundation.

This is yet another example of how Spocket operates with disregard for consumers' rights, exploiting them for financial gain while avoiding accountability.

What’s Next?

If we reach a significant number of signatures, we will take the following actions to ensure justice for all consumers affected by Spocket's fraudulent practices:

1. Submit a Formal Complaint to Regulatory Authorities:

Federal Trade Commission (FTC):

As Spocket operates globally, the FTC will be notified about these unauthorized charges and deceptive practices. The FTC is responsible for addressing consumer complaints and investigating fraudulent business activities.

https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/

_

European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net): For European consumers, ECC-Net will be contacted to mediate and address cross-border disputes with companies like Spocket.

https://ec.europa.eu/info/live -work-travel-eu/consumer-rights -and-complaints_en

_

2. Request an International Investigation:

Spocket’s headquarters are located in Vancouver, Canada. We will alert Canadian authorities, such as the Competition Bureau Canada, to investigate the company’s compliance with international laws.

https://www.competitionbureau .gc.ca/eic/site/cb-bc.nsf/eng/h _00122.html

_

3. Initiate a Class Action Lawsuit:

If enough victims come forward, we will partner with legal professionals to file a class action lawsuit against Spocket. This will demand full refunds for all unauthorized charges and potential damages for affected customers.

4. Pressure Payment Processors to Take Action:

We will escalate this issue to payment platforms like Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc, urging them to review Spocket’s transactions and potentially revoke their access to payment services.

Why This Matters:

By signing this petition, you’re not only demanding justice for yourself but also protecting future consumers from falling victim to similar schemes. Together, we can push regulatory bodies and legal institutions to hold Spocket accountable and enforce stricter protections for global consumers.
