Hi all,
You would have received an email from Senbla with an offer of a free ticket to the next Michael Buble event at Hatfield House (if you haven't, do check your junk folder).
I responded to that offer with a firm rejection - I, like many others here, would like my money refunded for an experience that should have never happened... however it may be a good option for those who live nearby & who knows when Michael will be back in the UK!
The latest email from Senbla is a ploy to try and keep as much revenue as possible in their back pockets from the shoddy manner in which they handled the Waddesdon Manor event. There will be a number of tricks they will try to enforce before they are forced to give up the profits they made from the Michael Buble event and pay us back what is owed.
If we do not receive our monies, we have a number of options;
- Small Claims Court: This is the route that I will take if Senbla refuse to pay back my money (approx £400!) by the end of July. The fees are not huge (https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money/court-fees) and I would rather spend £50 to get back £350 instead of losing the entire payment. This process can take months, however the legal system will hold Senbla accountable and this will likely be the most damaging outcome for them & Oliver Rosenblatt.
- STAR Dispute Form: STAR (Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers) are a society of events folk who hold ticket sellers accountable for failure to deliver their events in a satisfactory manner. For this event, the ticket sellers were AXS & Ticketmaster. You can find the form here - http://www.star.org.uk/dispute-resolution/
- Notify BBC Watchdog: I am going to formally log a dispute with BBC Watchdog (https://www.bbc.co.uk/send/u23123288 or email on watchdog@bbc.co.uk) as I believe they would have an interest in exploring the failures and shortcomings of Senbla and SES Group.
We have been viewed and shared in excess of 30,000 times with national press starting to gather interest, so please do not give up hope. The more we comment, share and encourage others to view this petition, the better the outcome will be for those of us who were shortchanged by Senbla, SES Group & Waddesdon Manor. Continue chasing our money until
