Petition updateReform YouTube's Unjust Policies on Copyright/Community Guidelines

Update and additional information

Hi all, sorry for the delay. I had a lot going on in my personal life, so... things kinda got hectic.

In any case, I would like to highlight some additional information regarding how damaging YouTube's policies are to content creators across the platform.

Sometime last year, a channel by the name of "LYON S.P.D" was taken down due to a false copyright claim (source). The year before that, a channel by the name of "CoryxKenshin" made a video that contained some serious allegations against YouTube for racism and favoritism (source). And of course, there is currently intensifying scrutiny towards a trio of content creators - Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast - in response to several problems with their new brand called, "Lunchly" (here's a video detailing said problems).

Even worse, there was a series of incidents where a content creator known as "SSSniperWolf" doxxed another content creator known as "jacksfilms" for rightfully calling out the former's history of content stealing and being uncreative with her content (the video explaining the situation).

Please share this petition around as much as you can - Facebook, Twitter, Bluesky, email, WhatsApp, Reddit, and even Discord all work great. Even if it's small, it means a lot to me when it comes to making a change within YouTube's content policies. If more of us sign, we can show YouTube that we care about having the freedom of creating content for all to enjoy without the fear of bad actors ruining our experiences.

Thanks again for supporting this cause, and I hope we can make a difference!
