Royal Mail have recently announced yet another price rise for stamps. In 2022 a first class stamp would cost 85p. Since then they have raised it several times, and it will now cost £1.70

Meanwhile, the service they provide is completely unreliable. Post does not get delivered on time, yet they continue to put the price up.

There have been many reports of Royal Mail staff stealing cash from letters/cards, yet when they try to complain, it's just ignored by Royal Mail. I myself have been the victim of this. A card was posted to me with £40 in it. Of course, despite being first-class, it didn't arrive on time, and when it did, it arrived in a plastic bag with a message on it "Sorry the item has arrived in this condition". The card had been ripped open, and the money stolen.

Why are we having to pay ever-increasing prices for a service that is unreliable, and carries the risk of theft? 

We demand that the Royal Mail reduce the prices of stamps, deliver mail on time, and take theft seriously.
