If you haven’t heard, I was arrested in March 2025 at JFK Airport while en route to meet a publisher about my forthcoming memoir. I was held overnight in a New York City jail—without an arrest warrant or indictment—based on fabricated charges and a perjurious affidavit. It was a politically motivated act designed to silence me and destroy my credibility.
But it didn’t work.
Instead, it validated everything I’ve been saying about the political weaponization of the FBI and the erosion of constitutional rights under an increasingly authoritarian system. Rather than backing down, I stood up—and announced my candidacy for Congress in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.
Today, I had the honor of giving my first live national interview since resigning in protest from the FBI. I appeared on Background Briefing with Ian Masters—a trusted national broadcast—where I announced my campaign and spoke as a subject matter expert on Russia’s subversion of American democracy and political institutions.
Just last month, the German network ZDF released a documentary prominently featuring my story. It’s been positively received and widely shared. That’s right—the Germans are warning us about rising fascism in America. You can watch the documentary, along with an English translation, here:

To the nearly 300 brave individuals who signed the petition demanding protections for legitimate whistleblowers: thank you. You helped build the foundation of this movement. That petition was just the beginning.
Whether or not I win against Trump’s handpicked candidate is beside the point. This campaign is about exposing corruption, defending civil liberties, and standing against tyranny. We are building a wall of resistance—some anonymous, some outspoken—who say, “No more.”
This will be one of the most closely watched battleground races in the country—Arizona’s District 6, near the Mexican border and on occupied Native lands. It touches every issue that matters: government corruption, militarization, civil rights, and environmental justice.
I’ve lost my career, livelihood, and reputation—but I have not lost hope. I still believe any true American would have done the same in my shoes. But I can’t do this alone. I’m asking for your support—not just financially, but by spreading truth and standing together to protect the democracy our forefathers fought to build.
