Reform the Call of Duty Chat Ban Policy

Reform the Call of Duty Chat Ban Policy
The Issue
As a dedicated player who has been chat banned over 6 times for what I consider non-serious offenses, I am deeply concerned about Call of Duty's current chat ban policies. The automated ban system is overly strict, prohibiting even playful exchanges and friendly arguments among comrades. This policy not only taints the true essence of gaming but can also lead to misunderstandings, effectively isolating players by hindering communication within the gaming community.
Important to remember, the ESAC (Entertainment Software Rating Board) acknowledges that "a small portion of game content might appear during online play" - this leniency should also extend to harmless banter within the gaming sessions.
Therefore, we appeal to the creators of Call of Duty to revisit and reform the chat banning policies. Enable the vibrant banter, competition, and camaraderie that has been part of gaming culture for decades to be part of this beloved game too. A more balanced, considerate system could potentially attract more users, boost positive player interactions, and contribute more to the overall gaming ecosystem.
Join me in letting them know how urgently we need these changes. Sign this petition to advocate for a more reasonable Call of Duty chat ban policy.
