I can't be kept in the dark no more. It's time that I share my story...

My name is Prisilla. & I am living a nightmare. My 5 children were removed from my care by DFCS & 3 of the 5 were placed into a STRANGERS home as well as separated from the other 2, causing each of them emotional distress, separation anxiety, as well as pain & suffering, among many other thing's that they have NEVER experienced while in my care. For TEN (10) YEARS, I have raised my children ALONE. I have NEVER had a dfcs case prior to now. My children have ALWAYS been together. They have ALWAYS been provided for, attended to, given what they NEED, on top of thing's that they WANT. I have never punished my children in an abusive or physical way. They have ALWAYS been HAPPY & HEALTHY where they were living, which is HOME with each other and me. Upon PAULDING COUNTY DFCS removing my children from me and separating them apart from each other, our contact with each other (meaning my 5 children and I) has been cut from seeing each other EVERYDAY, to me being able to see my children for LESS THAN 16 HOURS A MONTH... yes, I did say less than 16 HRS out of the entire MONTH. We can't talk on the phone, we can't see each other when we want, we aren't allowed updates of thing's that may be going on with each other. We have to visit at a family alliance center that is supervised by an OVERWHELMING amount of "employee's" who MAKE UP LIES and KEEP THEIR NOSE IN THEIR PHONE THE WHOLE TIME. My rights as a mother and my children's rights as an american citizen have all been TAKEN from us based upon LIES AND FALSE ALLEGATIONS, that the juvenile judge himself has played part in. At EVERY court hearing, the judge has SHUT ME UP, not even giving me the chance to be the voice for my babies. (Our court hearings have been strictly zoom meetings.) And every time I attempt to ask questions or make a statement, my microphone is muted. Dfcs attorney seems to be the one who rules our court hearings. Bc he speaks the most, he tells all the lies being made about me, he asks the questions, calls the shots, etc. I have a court appointed attorney, who has been of NO HELP whatsoever nor has she even fought for my children and I not one time. UPON receiving the TWO exhibits being presented in court about me, there are approximately 17-20 reasons on why I should be deemed unfit as a mother, yet of those things listed, at least 35% of them, has nothing to do with my case & about 55% of those "facts" are complete bullcrap and nothing but lies! But not ONE TIME has the judge made ANY WITNESSES come under oath, nor has he made any EVIDENCE be shown to back up those allegations. There has been family members who were apart of my case that were trying to step in and help when dfcs became involved, yet some of those family members are NOWHERE in my court documents nor were they even brought up in court. And upon thing's not going too well with "family" stepping in to help, a dependency case was filed on me due to "parents repeated inability to care for children." When I never asked for any help in the first place  of anything, my family members proved an inability to care for them. I on the other hand was NOT given a choice to keep my children myself. There are many other things that has gone completely wrong with this horrible nightmare that I have been living in, but I think you all get the point. I just feel it was necessary to give some insight into what I am dealing with, in hope's that there may be someone out there willing to help. There could also be someone who just needed to stumble upon this, to give them the courage to bring their situation to light & to stop hiding in the dark, fearing our corrupt government....

THIS is not just my story; it's the story of countless parents who have experienced the harsh realities of Child Protective Services (CPS). We demand reform in this system that is supposed to protect our children but often ends up causing more harm than good.

The current system allows CPS to interrupt people's lives without providing concrete proof of allegations in court. This lack of transparency and accountability has led to numerous instances where innocent parents lose custody, causing unnecessary trauma for both the parent and child.

According to a report by the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, false allegations are widespread in CPS cases with an estimated 2-8% being substantiated after investigation. Furthermore, research indicates that children placed into foster care are at higher risk for mental health disorders including anxiety due to separation from their families (Source: American Psychological Association).

We call on lawmakers to implement reforms that ensure due process rights for parents accused by CPS. Judges must be required to show clear evidence before making decisions that can shatter families apart.

This petition seeks justice not only for myself but also for all parents who have been wrongfully accused and had their lives turned upside down by a flawed system. It's time we stand together against corruption and fight for our right as parents.
