On the one year anniversary of our petition presentation in the BC Legislature, the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs confirmed they will not take action.

Not once did Housing communicate with us, and even their flimsy rejection was sent via MLA Osborne.  How unprofessional and dismissive of all of you, our supporters.  If you want to comment on this extremely poor citizen engagement to Housing, please email Molly.Wilkins@gov.bc.ca and 'HMA.Minister@gov.bc.ca'.  Public feedback is very helpful.

Far from "final", this rejection is a disapointing setback.  The petition is a permanent public record of the House, and another Housing Minister, or government, can revisit in the future.
