Any personal experiences or information on how often you visit The Scenic Rim, how much money you spend in the region where you visit would be a perfect thing to add to the email. Subject: Support Needed for Low-Impact Tourism on Private Land
To Whom It May Concern.
I am a camper and frequent visiting The Scenic Rim
(insert here how often, how much you spend in region, what local businesses you visit)
We are writing to request urgent action to cut unnecessary red tape for rural landowners seeking to offer low-impact, self-sufficient camping experiences on their properties.
These campers leave no trace, require no infrastructure, and directly support our local economy by spending with nearby cafes, shops, and attractions. For farmers, this is a vital opportunity to create additional income without compromising the environment or requiring development.
Scenic Rim has the chance to be a leader in rural tourism by embracing simple, sensible regulation that supports landowners - especially in a time when many farms are under financial pressure.
Let’s work together to make the Scenic Rim known not only for its beauty but for its forward-thinking approach to sustainable tourism and rural resilience.
Sincerely,
