We start this month’s newsletter with the very encouraging news that there will be a documentary about Lucy’s case on ITV1 at 10.20pm tonight.
The Yellow Butterfly Group very much welcomes the coming exposure of some of the case flaws and the expert analysis that will no doubt be a big part of the one hour it will run for.

Please help spread the word about this very important coverage if you can. The more people who watch it, the more people will come over to the right side of town. It’s as simple as that!
Last month, our petition hit the 5000 signature milestone, just days before its one year anniversary. To mark this occasion, we sent it to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), who it is addressed to, with an accompanying letter.
In our letter to them, we made it clear from the start that we are fully aware that the Commission does not accept petitions as a means of expediting or influencing their review process, but that we felt compelled to send it to them to highlight the significant public interest and support for the case to be re-examined.
We received a fairly generic but respectful letter back from them and we appreciate that acknowledgement. We hope the petition helps to feed a tiny thought in their minds that support for Lucy is never going to dwindle and it will continue to grow by the day.
If any journalists, with a proven track record are reading this and would like to cover the progress of our petition and / or would like to do a short interview, please get in touch and I’m sure something can be arranged. Work with us and we will work with you.
Please see our July newsletter for our very limited comment on the arrests of the former CoCH management and the potential new charges facing Lucy. We have a strict deadline of the last day of every month of what makes it into our newsletter, but on this occasion we thought it was too significant to delay.
It’s understandable that those of you who have subscribed may have expected much more comment from us on these unfortunate events, but the YB Group treads very carefully around commenting on any live investigations and I can’t stress enough to everyone reading this to do the same.
Keep yourself out of trouble and let the legal teams concerned deal with it. There are plenty of positive things that can be done to help Lucy that don’t involve putting yourself at risk of any liable or legal action. Putting stuff out there in the public domain should always be done with more caution than you think is necessary.
The Yellow Butterfly Group has many more plans of our own to take us up to the end of the year, so please stay with us and I will keep you updated.
As I asked last month, please subscribe to our YouTube channel too. It may not be the most active YouTube channel in support of Lucy, but all of our content is of the highest quality available to us, everything is fact based, there is no bad language and there will be lots of surprises and special features to come.

Thank you for all your support and remember, this fight is only won when Lucy is free and not a minute before. The story is changing by the day and we are all a part of it, so let's stay with it and keep fighting till sweet victory.
