Hello and happy Sunday to everyone reading this.
After a really successful January for those of us fighting for Lucy's justice, it would appear that February has the potential to be even better.
Fresh from his wonderful speech in Parliament on 08/01/25, Sir David Davis is back to chair another press conference, alongside Lucy's legal team and a panel of experts.
If this isn't exciting enough, it also features none other than Dr Shoo Lee, a retired neonatologist, whose 1989 paper about air embolism was used by the chief prosecution expert witness, Dr Dewi Evans, to support his theory on how many of the babies died.
Now I don't want to speculate at all on what Dr Shoo Lee is going to say, but given the fact that he appeared at the Court of Appeal in April on behalf of the defence, we can expect it to be something major.
The press conference will be held on Tuesday the 4th of February 2025. The time has not yet been officially confirmed, although I have heard it will be at 10am, but please check this out for yourself nearer the time.
It has also been fantastic to see a change in behaviour from many of the newspapers, who are beginning to seriously question the conviction at long last and are slowly starting to shift towards the right side of town.
As far as The Yellow Butterfly Group is concerned, we have been quietly been going about our business in our usual way of operating. We did a small protest in Liverpool last month, sent out letters to our MPs asking them to support Sir David Davis, our petition hit the 3250 mark this morning and we hope to finally release our new song for Lucy on Saturday coming, so please keep a look out for that.
Once again, I thank everyone for your help and support of this petition. Seeing the numbers grow week by week like this is extremely satisfying and something we can all be proud of and a part of together.
Let's keep on doing Lucy proud and bring her the justice she so rightfully deserves.
Best wishes,
Christopher Logan (Yellow Butterfly Group Founder, Chairman and Campaign Lead)
