Good morning and a happy New Year to everyone. 

On what has no doubt been a sad 2 weeks for Lucy with Christmas, New Year and her birthday all falling within that short space of time, more positive times hopefully lie ahead. 

In 3 days time, her case will be subject to a parliamentary debate, following Sir David Davis' many months of scrutinising the court transcripts and coming to the conclusion, in his own words that he is "90 odd per cent certain Lucy is innocent!"

This is a rare opportunity for those of us who are actively supporting Lucy to do something that could possibly help. So I urge everyone reading this to send a short email to your MP, asking them to attend the debate and support the notion of Lucy being granted a fresh and fair appeal. 

Whilst I appreciate this is very short notice, due to parliament being away over the Christmas, there is still time to act in the next 30 hours and get those emails sent. Remember, in order to receive any sort of reply from your MP, you email MUST contain the following 4 pieces of information:

01) Your name
02) Your address
03) Your email address
04) Your phone number

With regards to the petition, we proudly hit the 3000 mark just before New Year, an astonishing number, after less than 6 months since its launch. Again, I thank every single person who has signed, shared and contributed to a paid promotion of this petition. All of you can be proud that you have done something to help the cause.
