Petition update

Hi everyone. I had a meeting with a manager at Visibility . He said he would like to investigate the taxi voucher and travel pass but no communication since the meeting! I went to a meeting with the taxi commission. There were not many young people involved. I have notice since I have been to two advocacy meetings not many young disabled people attend these important meetings! There were a older defeated group of disabled people who dismissed my questions as fast as they could. The representatives were old and set in their ways with many excuses! They were not productive with finding solutions. I ask them if the taxi subsidy voucher would be upgraded. They said it would cost money! Taxi drivers rip off the government by filling in false vouchers. This money could upgrade the service. There was no constructive progress to these meetings! It was a venting session.
